The Lost Farm

Bougle Run
Set atop the dramatic sand dunes behind Barnbougle Lost Farm, Bougle Run, the new 14-hole short course is set to open late March 2021. Designed by internationally acclaimed Golf Architect Bill Coore, Bougle Run’s 14 holes consist of 12 par-3’s and two par 4’s which sit on the tall, undulating coastal dunes between Lost Farm’s front and back 9. The route, which includes some of the highest points of the entire Barnbougle complex, is set slightly back from the coastline, providing aerial-like views over the Lost Farm Course and Anderson’s Bay.
Golf Courses
The La Lagunita golf course was modeled after the courses in Scotland, where the sport originated. In this way, it was developed in order to resemble traditional golf courses. There are no or very few trees, and the land has subtle rolling terrain. The layout of the holes is divided into two parts: with the first nine going to the furthest point from the clubhouse and the second nine bringing you back. As the golf course is a work by Dick Wilson, it is also characterized by its level of difficulty, a signature of the North American architect. Many of the holes on the course are deliberately designed with no direct line of sight between the starting position and the green. A hole can drift to the left or right. This deviation or twist is what is known as “dogleg”, referring to the similarity it has to a dog’s ankle. 9 This feature fields Wilson claimed the victory to the team of the United States in 22 or 22 or Golf World 1974 which was held at the Lagunita Country Club, where they lost their winning streak, leaving the third place.

As for golf, it also has a practice area with capacity for 15 players. A Putting Green of 2,500 square meters. Modern lockers and all the details and facilities that the most demanding players can aspire to, in an interesting set of extensive and well-kept green areas, that delight professionals and fans of this fascinating sport. In addition, a 9-hole “par 3” golf course was built.
