The Club
The Royal Victoria Yacht Club was founded in June 1892 and is the oldest yacht club in western Canada. Our main clubhouse and marina is located on the protected waters of Cadboro Bay while our Tsehum Harbour marina is located in the nearby town of Sidney. Royal Victoria club promotes yachting, boating, navigation, seamanship and offers racing events, cruising excursions, moorage, kayaks & stand up paddle board rentals (free of charge), dining, themed events and much more. The Royal Victoria Yacht Club offers a little something for everyone. More than just a Clubhouse facility, Royal Victoria are a group of like-minded individuals sharing a passion for “messing about in boats.” Royal Victoria club invite you to take part in the wide variety of boating, social and learning activities both on and off the water for year-round enjoyment of your membership. Living on the edge of the world-renowned Salish Sea RVYC are privileged to be a launch point into an ocean playground. RVYC is dedicated to the development of boaters of all experiences through education, mentorship, sport and camaraderie.
